I finally got around to putting some time into working on my photos in Aperture and getting them up onto Flickr (and getting Flickr working on this blog). After running around with Facebook and other social networks (Google+ is the network du jour), I have decided that I really want to pour more of my time into the blogs I own. Social networks are nice for keeping in touch, but I think in the long term blogs and websites are the only thing that are going to stand the test of time.
This is the first set of photos I have put on the blog that were shot with my new (used) camera, a Canon 5D. It produces some stunning images, and I am now pretty much a full frame SLR convert. It’s so hard to go back to smaller CCD cameras once you see the full quality available from a pro-sumer SLR.
Hopefully this is the first of many more posts featuring my photography. Its pretty much my latest obsession.
